Boxing began as a simple school activity but quickly became a calling when he realised his natural ability. The gym soon turned into a second home, giving him purpose, direction and a place to express who he was becoming.

Despite his growing talent, Sam remains humble. He respects everyone who steps into the ring, knowing the courage it takes to face danger head on. Family has been central to his path, especially his father, whose sacrifices and long journeys to support him have never been forgotten. His coach, Alex Matvienko at Elite Boxing Gym, has been a father figure, teaching him discipline, respect and the values needed to grow both as a fighter and as a man.

Sam’s ambition to become a world champion burns with clarity and conviction. He works every day to honour the potential he believes God has given him, understanding that success is not only measured by belts but by fulfilling purpose.
